How to Participate in the University Nanosat Program
  1. An Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) request for proposal (RFP) is released in the fall every even numbered year
  2. Universities should check www.afosr.af.mil for the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Request For Proposal (RFP) that is associated with Nanosat.
  3. Universities should prepare proposals in accordance with the AFOSR BAA RFP, and submit them before the listed deadline
  4. University proposals selected for funding under the AFOSR Nanosat Program Grant will be notified prior to Nanosat Kickoff
  5. Selected universities should notify the Nanosat Program via the “contact” page with a primary point of contact for the university
  6. At the time of this writing, the current Nanosat AFOSR BAA can be found at: http://www.afosr.af.mil/ResearchAreas/research_opportunities.htm
  7. As example only, the Fiscal Year 2005 Nanosat BAA is here: UNP_BAA_for_FY2005.pdf

All other inquiries are welcomed via the "contacts" link. Discussion of proposal and satellite mission design topics are welcome regardless of program timeframe.
